I play bass and the way how I hear and interpret music is VERY different from my guitarist.

I hear music one note at a time, he hears and thinks in Chords. I'll hear a bassline alot easier and more accurately than him, but he'll hear subtle things the guitarist is doing.

It really has nothing to do with one instrument being harder than the other. Bass is not easier than guitar
