Y esto si lo deja en el refrigerador kuanto tiempo puede durar.... O kuanta kantidad para solo un animal puedo hacer.... Tambien me gustaria ver komo limpia y baña a un bulldog porfavor
What is the green you are adding - do you buy heads with necks and feet only (no organ meat or flesh meat or bone?) There is no zinc, copper, omg3's in what you are feeding without the organ meat. And why did you adapt a small manual grinder with a motor instead of buying a grinder with a larger plate so you could do more faster? Doesn't it take a long time to prepare food for all those dogs with this one small grinder? What size plate is that (hole size not diameter) - it looks very coarse.
Hello Diego thanks for sharing your knowledge with us I personally appreciate it.
I have a 2.5 year English which will behaving pups in the next couple of months should I switcher over to a BARF diet now and would it benefit the pups.
She is on Blue Buff lamb, rice dry how would I switch her over so that she would not develop allergic reactions. Thanks For Now Your Friend In IL. Julian
hi diego i have a puppy, and someone advised me that chicken bones can puncture their insides and eventualy die from bleeding problem.. is it ok to feed them this?
why grind it up? they would eat yogurt in the wild?
p.s. no grinder (dogs develop muscles with big pieces and dog's like to think about their meal while eating it). u made the meal speed similar to eating a bowl of dog food. novices grind the meat. a whole bone or animal will clean the dogs teeth, not this way.
My bully is 1.5 yrs old and is allergic to corn and other ingredients in dog food and is always getting hot spots around her head. She is also allergic to flea bites. She doesnt have dermatitis, just bad skin. Whould this help? How many days in advanced do you prepare the food and how much will she eat a day?
thats what i feed my english, french bullies and pugs, my english bully had allergies and hot spots when i got her, she completely changed, you can see the difference. my pugs coats are "show" coats so is my frenchie and english, only because of this stuff. although i think chicken is a useless meat, i feed not only raw meat but eggs as well, ill never give my dogs any of the store vitamins, barf diet is the way to go,never had any problems with it and dogs love it! thanks for the vid
hi could you please tell me what and how much should i give my american bulldog. im abit stuck to what i should ask the butcher for and how much and how long that will last for.
1. if i was to get my dog raw chicken how much should i get from the butchers to last a month.
2. how much should i feed him per day in grams so i can weigh and prepare.
3. how long can it last if i was to do a huge proportion and store it in a fridge or freeza.
Thanks for this great video again I have switch my bulldog to this great diet and my husband and I are seeing great results
Thanks Mauiexpokennels
I was wondering if you could make a video of puppies switching from mothers milk to barf or what are the steps to that thanks and great work with your bulldogs I think you have the best
Don't they get poisoned from salmonella? French Bulldogs could. Plus what about the vitamins they need? Bulldogs have sensitive stomachs. Puppies and adults.
Deigo, thanks for putting your vids out there, I am preparing my self to switch my bullies diet but trying to figure out what kind of meat grinder to get, any advice. What kind is yours?
hi Diego,i heard it from an expert that is a good idea to put the raw meat into boiling water for 30 sec before we prepare it so the boiling water will sanitize the meat from the bad microbes ,is it true,do u agree?and if not what is your safety tips against tha bad microbes ,bacterias salmonella etc?where shell i buy the meat from to make sure its safe?please let me know cause i wanna feed my upcoming german sheperd puppy with B.A.R.F diet..
@monique9134 If you put in in Boiling water it would not be RAW so it would not be BARF, I have never had any problems, you have to make sure that were ever you buy you chicken or meat it is in a place where it is is always fresh.
So the answer is no I do not recommend boiling it, Everyone has different opinions you would just have to try and see what works best for you guys.
@mschfmng3 500 grams of meat and bone 1 omega 2 pill 2 table spoons of wheat bran "very Important" vegetables of your choice not the ones that cause gases like lettuce etc.. 100 grams of sugar free yogurt and 1 table spoon of vitamin supplements human or dog what ever you find is fine.
hello diego. i am curious to see how raw feeding will do for my 4-5 month old labrador/mix. he is 31 pounds. can i feed him raw chicken breast from the grocery?
since thanksgiving is near the corner, what parts of the turkey would u feed raw?
@PunaniLicker69 Any part of the turkey but this is a diet you have to continue not just feed him once and that is it, it has to become a daily routine.
@mauiexpo thanks! can i do it once a week? i should i just stick with dog food? is chicken soup for the dog lovers soul a good food? i am feeding him blue bluffalo right now, but that is a bit expensive, so i might switch to chicken soup for the dog lovers soul which is 1/2 the price of blue buffalo and double the size. thanks!
Hi Deigo! I've decided to go with a premium holistic dog food and mix it with what I'm already feeding. I just don't think I would stick with the raw feeding. Thanks for your help and I will contact you with any questions that may arise!
Hello Diego! It's Stella Oxford. I ordered a recipe book for raw meals, but it has such strict guidelines as to what you feed and ALL the supplements! You almost need to be a chemist to keep up with it, and I'm sure I wouldn't stick with it. You don't seem to be as strict with your meals. Is chicken and veggies the only thing you feed? And do you ever give chicken without grinding it first? I'm a little overwhelmed and confused! Let me know what you think! Stella
Hello Diego! It's Stella from Big Ox Bulldogs! I was just wondering if you need to add any vitamin suppliments? And how do you decide what the portion size should be? Do you go by their weight? I'm seriously planning to change my bulldogs to a raw diet, I just want to educate myself before I do that.
@brentscheif Stella Vegetables Omega 3 and vitamin supplements is a must, just any powered form, 2 table spoons of wheat bran in each meal is also a must! I buy the one for horses in any feed store, WHEAT BRAN this helps their digestive system and makes them evacuate easier plain BARF will make them constipated and you have a huge chance in some dogs getting septicemia.
NEVER AGAIN HAVE I HAD A BULLDOG SUFFER FROM SKIN ISSUES AFTER USING BARF NEVER IS NEVER!!!!!! I Recommend this Highly.
@mauiexpo my english bulldog pup had skin problems it was pretty bad. i saw your video, made the switch and the rashes start going away within days. thanks for this. this guy is legit
@LianaMay01 EBs aren't lazy as such, they just can't do alot because of breathing difficulties, it's not laziness. my Gran had an EB for 12years (she was 3 when was born, died when I was 9), she was exercised for at least 2 hours every day and was on a good, healthy diet (no extra treats, just her main food) and she didn't look much different from the one in this video. it's years of inbreeding to reach the breed standard which has caused large stucture and the breathing difficulties.
@LianaMay01 That's not an over weight bulldog. That's what english bulldogs look like (if they are bred to match the breed standard) not that I agree with anything about english bulldog's breed standard, Breathing difficulties, heart problems, serious problems giving birth etc. but that's what all 'breed standard' bullies look like i'm afraid :(
@mauiexpo My fiance loves your videos! He has decided that breeding our dogs is my job......dont know that I can do it but we are going to give it a go! Any pointers for our first time?
@mauiexpo my partner wants to sex the dogs himself but im a bit apprehensive about it all. Is the way you do it on your video the easiest way to breed the dogs?
If you don't mind me asking what vegtables do you put in there food and about how much do you feed them? and how many times? Sorry for so many questions I am just thinking about doing this for my bullies.
Hi Olivia I feed them 2 times a day, 60% meat and bones 40 % vegetables you can use celery, carrots, cue cumbers, sweet potatoes, garlic for D-worming, peas, etc.. your choice as long as its raw and fresh you can make as many combinations as you can imagine and i feed them a good amount so that they stay healthy, you will more or less know the amount after you start using BARF no more skin problems or allergies haven't had any water babies either since using this in my breeding program.Good Luck
hmmm.. interesting. I am trying to learn as much as I can before I decide purchase one. So what would you prefer for new bulldog owners? this method or regular puppy chow.
