My very favorite album--played it when I had a show on campus radio about a zillion years ago and I think I loved every song on it! It's been 45 years since I've heard any of these songs. I have the Martin & Neil album but was never able to get my hands on "If the Jasmine Don't get You the Bay Breeze Will".
Finally, someone has posted a gem from this beautiful album. "Summerwind" and "If the Jasmine Don't Get You..." are also great songs, hell, the whole album is great. Thanks for putting this song up.
Thanks for posting something from Vince Martin. Finally someone with taste! I used to listen to this album all the time back in '69 and '70 when Vince Martin lived and hung out in Coconut Grove. That was when "The Grove" was a sleepy fishing village on Biscayne Bay influenced by a colony of bohemians and hippies. something special back then and quite different from what it is today. Vince Martin best described "the grove" when he said "If the jasmine don't get you then the bay breeze will".
