Haha I think it de-lamenated, the snow got into it and one and then later two layers started to peel off the board in bubbles on the side of the Board. I'm gonna take it into the shop to see if I can replace it, i broke it on the 3rd day of use. I'm 14. Haha
I had a burton twin some years ago when I was in alaska and I want to buy one now but I can't find any place that has the 2010 burton twin. I can find older models but I want the one in the vid. Love the graphics on it. Do you know any place that has it?
Just wondering, is the Twin only good for park or is it good to use kind of all-mountain as well? Because I absolutely love the look of it, but I will be doing mostly just carving and jumps on it. I will never be rail grinding as well. Appreciate reply, cheers :)
@DRN555 The Twin is pretty park specific. You can definitely find a board that is better suited for you. Rule of thumb: NEVER BUY A BOARD BECAUSE OF THE GRAPHICS. You really want to get performance out of the stick under your feet, not just something that is fun to look at. For the type of riding you want to do look for a board that is directional, has a little bit stiffer flex (like 5 or above) and I don't know where you're riding but Magnetraction or Pressure Distribution edges are amazing.
@Sk8bordr125 You could probably go anywhere from 140 to146. If you're riding park you will want a shorter board. If you mostly cruise around the mountain or ride powder you will want a stiffer, longer board. If you are still growing be sure to leave yourself some room to grow into your board as well.
ok. i[m think i'm gun guna get this board. i come from granite peak wisconsin. and i love riding park bt i love riding outa the park to. and its rly icey at our mtn but i rode a lamar and so i think i can handle this board
@boarderkid32 It is kill it all freestyle and presses great rock it for sure! Flex is 4-5 out of 10...pipe boards (at least modern ones) usually are gunna be stiffer.
Best board I've ever bought. I didn't know the board came factory waxed though. I ended up getting it waxed before riding it anyway. Wonder if that matters..
Agreed- I bought the 161 with Burton exile bindings, and Burton moto boots to top it off, Greatest thing i've ever bought, this board is amazing! :) And the graphics are sick Alwase get good comments on them :)
god this is hard,, ive been juggling the BURTON JUSSI and the BURTON TWIN for like 3 months now and i cant deside. im relly into back contry but i also like a strong durable board with a nice edge for park,, what should i go with???
ok thanks

@mtlpsycho We have a few Burton Twin's from left from 09 that would work great for jumps. thanks to their mid flex rating and cambered profile shape.

I'm 6 foot 3 inches tall, 150lbs and have a size 14 shoe... not sure about my boot. Would this board be suited to me? What size if it does?
TheLukington 2 years ago
It's not wide enough. Look at wide specific boards.

No Lamar does not have a EST disc. It has to be Burton (preferably an EST binding from them).
