I was sneaking in Blakes to play the blues jam before i was 21...i got kicked out a few times by the management. But I didnt have to do that too much, luckily i turned 21 and I looked forward to playing every monday. I was so thankful of Steve, the band, the regulars Mikie and Moose. All good players. Mrz Dee would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up repeatedly. She is one of only a few that have had that effect on me as far as Music hitting me to the core.
Thanks for stopping by. Tell your father thank you for hosting that jam session for so long. He was really cool and patient about the whole thing. You can see the video of me playing piano for the first time there, it was horrible. But Steve was always encouraging. I'm a lot better now, I'll post a video soon. He helped give me the confidence to play and he put together top notch music every week for me to learn from.
