The antenna problem on the iPhone is still much more dramatic. But in the Apple video, they held it with their right hand covering the bottom left corner. While I can't really tell if you were holding it on the bottom right corner because it was out of the frame, it seems that it would take around 40 seconds to get completely to 0 bars while holding the bottom right corner instead of the top as you demonstrated in the video.
Oh and apple is just giving credence to this whole thing. If they just said, "we made a mistake, here's a free bumper for you all, thanks for your time," then the news would eventually die down. Instead, they make videos instigating the reporters into showing them their faults, yet again. Apple's being really stupid right now. They should just let it go.
