@OakvilleKGB the saints had all the right to win the award. A couple reasons: one the saints were the laughing stock of the NFL and once winning a world championship we gained the respect of being a high caliber and as a respected team.
Secondly after hurricane katrina when everyone had nothing to call home there was the saints to hold us up and to give us hope. That hope was with us and with the team to show that we will recover and guess what we did.

@Toews1988kane - even with a biased opinion you should see that the Hawks should have no business winning this award...they play the 4th most popular professional sport in the country....i honestly thiink the Lady Huskies were the best team here....but given the Saints unique circumstance they were the obvious and correct choice for the award....I'd go Saints>Lakers>UCONN>Alabama>Hawks>Yankees(only cause i hate the yankees and they bought another title)
