That was awesome! i still don't understand why so many people don't like the two new James Bond movies. I like them a lot more than the older ones. He's more like a real man in these new ones. Daniel Craig plays a perfect role.
@kyokushindabomb I think it has to do with both time and image. Bond is seen as a little cliche and dated as a concept. in the post-Cold War era, heavily-armed black-ops soldiers are more believable that super spies. Also, as part of the cliche, I think alot of people expect Bond to be slick and polished. Craig's Bond is a grittier, more rough-and-tumble character. I have enjoyed the new films myself, but I do admit their tone and feel is a little "off" because of what I expect Bond to be.
@jforonda31383 I understand your point, but you have to take into consideration that the new books, that these two new Bonds were fimed from are describing him like this. In Quantum of Solace and Casino Royal Bond is a more Hard-Hitting, pissed off, shoot first ask questions later kind of guy. The older Bonds he was percieved more like a very rectifying gentleman. The reason i like the new ones more is mainly because if you look at it realistically the Bond that Daniel plays is more the part.
Think about it. The Bonds that Pierce Brosnan played made Bond seem invincible. Everytime he got into a fight he managed to get out of it without a scratch. It's just it's not the type of man i would see being a so called "Super Spy."
