Hay Dallas, nice roof jack, I see the roofer used a wood shake jack and you used a comp jack, maybe you should teach the roofer a thing or two lol. Very clean job, my hats off to you my brother. I like your attic door.

@dizziedallas Ya some get real wild about there roof's lol. I need to learn more about your attic door. Do you put booth pieces in the attic are do you put the frame on the out side and door inside?

@Nutintoitbut2doit Ya I put the frame up first with screw and they are counter sunk too, and then the door is about 2'' bigger so it can't fall through.It better than moulding.When the guys have to make the crawl hole bigger I don't care how big it is or if it is center , off to one side, it does matter because I can work around them (Custom fit).

I will be at little brothers Friday doing that + 1 more PVC, plus new water heater vent , it will be NO Comparison to the Master though !!! Roofer wants to start Saturday . Man I spent 300.00 on just venting material !!! What did you use to cut out shingles ? I'm gonna use 2 1/8 " hole saw for PVC , and rough cut double wall !!!

@fritzhvac Fritz your the master of all the trades! I just cut the roofing material with my tin snips and I did use a makita 1/2 drill and a 2 1/8 hole saw and egg shape it a little.
