its really really hard to recreate the paranoia of dead space with a rail shooter, and this game doesn't even come close. Get psyched for Monster Hunter Tri, the first "real" game for the Wii that doesn't come from Nintendo. (Yeah Capcom, Show 'em how we do!)
Kinda goes to show how Game Designers have become lazy making games on the wii, The wii is more than capable of having good graphics, maybe not *as* good as Ps3 but over all, good graphics
this is one of my fave games on the wii but i dont think that i should have been on rails and the aliens are called necromorphs and not xenomorphs (the aliens in the film alien are called xenomorphs)
I have already bought this, and am really enjoying it so far, but i was wondering if anyone had House of the Dead Overkill and thinks that it is better, and if so, why?? x
they are about the same for me but DS has way more polish and more involving story while HOD is arcade style run and gun with a Grindhouse, self aware parody vibe. If you don't like swearing, you probably will want to turn off the sound.
I think HOD is a better 2 player game while DS is a better single player.

lol yeah man, let's make a Wii mote for every PC out there.....and have to upgrade it every now and again to keep up with the graphical race. Oh also it's probably fun to be stuck in front of a (usually) much smaller screen with an immobile desktop while your younger brother is having a blast with his nice bean bag chair, 72-inch screen and the privacy of his own room...
haveyou seen the gfx for burnout revenge? its comparable to this. Im not saying the wii is a bad console, in fact i love the interface, but it doesnt quite have the hardware to compete with the other 2 next-gen's. the Wii2 should be interesting to see though.
the done the camera very good it moves like ur scared in real life if something make a noise he turna around and sometimes something is there and sometimes not cool(never played dead space but i know it pownage game)
this is a great game that shows what the wii can do and make it challenging n fun to, its better than RE umbrella chronicles a bit but I still say Metroid Prime 3 is still a jaw droping game for the wii.
what else do you expect with controls the wii is great for any shooting games and adding gimmicks to its controls are easy to master or maybe your shit at holding real guns or at least hold a arcade shotgun from House of the dead 3 for 30 minutes untill your arm falls off.
graphics I don't really give a shit about unless it has a great charm to the game like gears of war, sonic unleashed, jet set radio, team fortress 2 or mirrors edge.

@Mr2018TV since it's an on-rails shooter you don't move around. the nunchuck is used for selecting weapons and freezing enemies though.
