ive played tales of symphonia, tales of phantasia very easily on hardest difficulty on both and i just beat vesperia and holy shaz. Duke kept escaping my combos and infecting me with some random disease i swear i most likely said "you bitch!!" at least 50 times and i got more mad when i realized it was on normal oh boy its gonna be hellz trying to fight him on unknown without the battle system completely figured out wish me luck!

The teleporting kind of got to me, but Duke isn't the hardest final boss ever. Elraine is. :)

He's definitely a human. Duke claims earlier in the game that "their common bonds as humans are meaningless"

I say Duke may be the hardest boss ever. He inflicts deadly combos, a bunch of ailments and his Mystic arte goes boom! Thats a winner.

I used Final Symbols on all 4 members because I'm cheap like that. XD The anti - status effect group of skills seemed to work well enough for me.

Also even Duke DID sacrafice humanity we would just come back as something else and someone else like him will try to do this again. it just be a endless circle until somebody (or someones) stop them.
