  • When you load drumagog onto a track, can you blend the original sound with the sample?

  • @McQuads87 Yes, you can, there is a blend control. Some users prefer to make a duplicate of the track that is to be replaced, allowing for even more flexibility.

  • So if i want kick, hat, snare, hi tom, mid tom, low tom. i need load 5 instances of bfd2 ??

  • @bubnjarovski Yes, Drumagog triggers one drum per instance, and if you're hosting BFD, you'll need it on each instance.

  • Que alguien me explique ¿Por que los videos de drumagog están "relacionados" con videos de granos gigantes a punto de estallar?

    WTF?!?!?

  • Don't forget to raise the sensitivity so that the kick isn't triggered too, as it happens in the video. Or use a gate before drumagog. Great demonstration, great plug-in!

  • can i use superior drummer as a plugin?

  • @guitarsbunch347 Yes! Any VST instrument, including Superior Drummer, can be hosted by Drumagog 5 Platinum. Even in DAWs that use RTAS or AU, Drumagog 5 Platinum can host VSTi's.

  • Good man!

  • I've done all that and still nothing. No sounds or anything. I create an audio track and insert drumagog. I chose enable midi out and chose the channel an note. I then made a midi track and out drumagog as an insert. Still nothing

  • @TimesTheSkyBand This could be an issue with the MIDI note or another part of your setup. If you haven't already, email us at support@drumagog.com with the details of your system and the steps you've taken to set this up and we'd be happy to help you out

  • One more issue. I want to use my Alesis trigger io to record the drums and edit them midi. Im using cubase as my DAW. Ive followed the steps in the manual exactly but no luck.

  • @TimesTheSkyBand Make sure you have the Port set to Internal. The MIDI tracks' Input in Cubase needs to be set to Drumagog.

  • Basically Im getting a lot of double triggers of the same sensitivity. How would I get rid of these so its only 1 hit?

  • @TimesTheSkyBand Sounds like you need to adjust the Transient Detail Slider to the left. This will make Drumagog less sensitive to the hits. If it is bleed from anther track that is causing the flams, you can use the Trigger Filter, Bleed Reduction, or Auto Ducking features

  • What Im trying to do it use Drumagog to record in my studio real time like you would with steven slate. I run triggers from the drums into a trigger io in my interface to record. Can Drumagog replace the sounds real time? If so how? if not is there anyway to open say exdrummer in drumagog and replace the snare in ezdrummer with a snare from drumagog? Thanks

  • @TimesTheSkyBand Yes, Drumagog replaces drum samples in real-time. Advanced mode is preferred for mixing, and Live mode can be used in performance modes. But Drumagog always looks ahead in time and replaces the drums in real-time. Check out our demo to see how it works for you in your setup!

  • when I add zdrummer i can't set "none", why?

  • @Donaciu I have found, but can I use drumagog 5 in a midi track?

  • @Donaciu Yes, the "None" preset that clears the loaded kit is located in the upper left hand corner of EZdrummer.

Drumagog can be played from a MIDI track. You must first put it on its own audio track, and then route your MIDI track to it.

  • if the drumkit has 7 piece, I can just use 7 cheap mics and record to 7 tracks ? so there'll be 7 instances of drumagog vst ?

  • @zzzxtreme Drumagog replaces one drum per track instance. So for every drum you want to replace (snare, kick, tom, hi-hat, etc), you will need a track with one instance of Drumagog.

  • @zzzxtreme Yeah, I think the best way would be to replace only Kick, snare and Toms, and use the real HH and OH tracks. Overheads give you a real sound and it will be "less obvious" that you're replacing drums.
