He is cuddly and lovable, but over here he is not a rabbit but a hare. His hind legs are longer than a rabbit's and he runs rather than hops. I like your choice of music, too. At times, when he is chewing, it looks as though he is joining in.
If Jack Rabbit is the name for "ye olde world's" hare, do you have proper rabbits as well?
well I'm no expert but the only other bunny I have ever seen in the wilds in and around edmonton are Snowshoe hares, which are smaller and more furry and cute. JAck rabbits are seen more as a pest around here, at least by some people, and the snoe shoe hares are the more wellcome species. Both are good Owl food, especially the young.
Our hares are bigger than the rabbits, and both are not liked by garden enthusiasts - but I like them. Hares are less common and less numerous than rabbits which breed, well, like rabbits, as the saying goes. Male hares can sometimes seen "boxing" in early spring. Hence the saying "mad as March hares".
It's Bugs Bunny
