if it only had quadcore. tested both from the store and the asus was faster its almost lag free specially in menu transitions although the galaxy tab is fast it still lags from time to time... tsk.. WMC is close anyway soo its better to wait whats coming.

Having more then one launcher installed at a time will slow android down like you expericence there. Even if you are on a different launcher android will still hold some memory for the other launcher. So unistalling the other launchers and look at your performance then. It helped with my android phones (droid x, droid razr).

@kenshin304 believe me, it won't at all. After getting rid of all the TouchWiz widgets and exchanging them with sleak custom ones, it's a different device. This is all about the performance hoag TouchWiz

That lag happens on my Galaxy note too when i have widgets on all of my panels. Hopefully, ICS will improve and fix the lag issue. Its been a dissapointment. Galaxy S2 was smoother.
