I hate to say it but the writers sucked towards the end that should have went down differently.

that he loved her they go and break them up. That was just horribly wrong. And the way they broke up was even stupider. I mean seriously introduce and old friend and with a few words all of a sudden he's turning her against him. Michael was being very understanding but hey you can push a man or alien to the limits.

If you really want to be honest about it michael er brendan was the reason we didn't have another season of Roswell. and i'm not being mean or harsh, he didn't want to come back because they broke up him and maria, and frankly i can't blame him that ticked me and all of my friends off. They were like the perfect couple to me. As explosive as they were together in the heat of an argument they were the same way in passion. After everything he went through get himself to admit to her and himself

God, this is so adorable. Where did this even come from? One of the DVDs? Michael and Maria are by far my favorite part of Roswell. I mean, I want Max and Liz to work it out just as much as the next fellow, but they just have constant angst! Michael and Maria are as funny as they are heartbreaking and their chemistry is just explosive. (Which kind of makes sense, because apparently the actors were dating at the time...)
