@christinelorrella love the fact you mentioned the words Spiritual and and Red Hot Chilli peppers int he same comment, did you notice a lot of Anthonies lyrics are about very intricate Spiritual subjects? On this song for example "We are the lotus kids" - A clear reference to the Chakras/Holy Spirit/Kundalini/Vibration Hippy Stuff. Anthony has been practicing Yoga. Check out Parallel Universe, in my opinion its Anthonies most powerful lyrical genius.

i've loved the red hot chili peppers my whole life, and this song is by far my favorite. these lyrics help me through a lot of things. anthony's book is an amazing read, finished it in two days. words cant even describe it. its absolutely the best thing ive ever read. you just get lost in the book. anthony definately tells you about all the freat things in life hes experienced and the dark things, too. i recommend it greatly. I broke my leg in the summer of 2002 when I was 10 (the year this album was released). My mother brought me into town a week later to buy me an album to listen to, as I was very bored in the house. I picked this one out. I sat down with my cast on listening to this song for 2 days, 2 weeks later I went on holidays to France (with my broken leg). It was the only thing I listened to for 2 weeks and I loved it. That holiday and those nostalgic sounds of by the way will always make me smile.
