1. they used slimer

2. they tried to sell good/evil energy

3. the goofy henchman of Vigo was not threatening

4. Vigo was too easily beaten.. and weakened by song. Sorry, but that's something you expect in a bad musical number.

Movie-based game (2009) - great (reccomend every fan to check it out)

Turns out Ramis and Akroyd did not actually write the script for the ghostbusters game... more just read it and accepted it as adequate enough. None of the original Ghostbusters team had the faintest idea how to write a script for a video game as the pacing is all off.

Ghostbusters 3's script is being written as we speak by two writers from the show The Office.

Bill Murray's reasoning for not wanting to do a third film was that he felt the direction Ghostbusters was heading involved more special effects and less character development. That in mind, Murray makes mention he'd like to do Part 3 from a fresh perspective. All the ghostbusters voiced themselves on the videogame.

Ghostbusters 1 focused more on comedy while Ghostbusters 2 focused more on plot which I thought was a good thing. I got a sense that the events in the 2nd movie was really happening while I thought the 1st was just "funny for the sake of funny."
