seriously, i know there will always be a thing that muscle cars cant handle but really. muscle cars were built to dominate stop light races in the city and in the u.s. city streets dont have curves. so your 170 hp rsx might be able to take a non existant corner better but a muscle car will destroy in in the straits (which is what we, in the u.s. call a city street)
@ihateu1979 brand new evo's cost a lot, you could beat that evo with a muscle car with the same amount of cash in it. it may not be a torino but it will be fast.

The only way you could get a muscle car to better the performance for the same money, would be to find a muscle car in the $5-10K range, and then you will still have to redo all the suspension because most likely it needs it from the age. All said and done with, the EVO will still run 12's but still be able to hug turns around a race track, even run rally.

No real need to upgrade that.

This car was an original idea. It didnt actual get made its own car until 1970 (Before than it was a Fairlane Torino). The designer that made this car didnt even think it would pass but the ford bigs liked it and you get the torino we love.

well the other car didnt sound turbo, a 17 lbs boost on a rsx gives it 505 hp. Those junky cars from the 70's would be no match. Cuz 500 hp in a light car like that...forget about it.

You'll need Forged internals, lower compression, cam swap, standalone engine management, plus a badass suspension setup to handle the power, and stop the weight transfer. Meanwhile, the "junky" car does a H/C/I swap and still rapes you for less than half the price. When your ready to get schooled some more post another dumb comment.
