I was just searching for memorial day tribute videos and came upon this. It's hard to believe but, I served with 1/22 infantry during this deployment and knew SPC West, though, I was in C Co. May he and all of our "Regulars" rest in peace. Regulars by God, Deeds not Words.

snowboard0753 I know how it feels. I'm in my 3rd Tour right now. I lost my Childhood friend in my 2nd Tour. Both of us went to Annapolis Naval Academy to train as Marines. And we were like brothers. And It tears me apart to come over here again and him not be here with me. But I know He's up there watching me, and I'm glad I'm back in Afghanistan serving my Country and I'd gladly lay my life on the line for my fellow Americans.

Hello..my name is shane kolp. im in the u.s army im 23. Im in the 23d divion. i will be going back to Afganistan for my third time. to patrol for insurgents. i lost my best friend my secound time and it kills me not to be there fighting beside my brothers. But i am glad to now that im going back in two weeks. I thank all of the people that suport use and you dont now what it like when some one just says thanks!

Army rangers, It is kind of a family thing. My family goes back and forth between army and navy. It is my turn to join army. I have been working out and getting myself ready sense I was 10. I have lost family to those bastards and they will pay for it with thier lifes. I will never give up. I dont care if it comes down to my fists. After I finish my military work I want to join blackwater. [ I want to go far in the army, special forces far :)]
