The US is government is capitalist but on the Anglo model which even though we may demonize it is not as bad as our governments. Latin capitalism is the worst.

@rocki10able i only understood about half of what you said but i know what you mean. i from one of the wealthiest families in nicaragua and trust me nobody likes daniel ortega. many years aggo he tried taking my grandfathers businesses but he refused to give them up. His hotel the Holiday Inn Select was recently attacked by sandenistas. All daniel ortega and the sandenista party are doing is ruining the country..

Oh my gosh I just noticed this video, Connor...I love all of your flow/broseph/lax vids but I never saw this one before. I go to Nicaragua on mission trips and I will be going on my 4th trip this summer. I was actually interviewed for a PBS Documentary about Nicaragua and I was interviewed at La Chureca right above the big "lake" that's in the video. Such a coincidence. Take it easy bro.

Wow, this is a beautiful and inspiring video! I've been there and seen this. It has to be experienced to be believed.

We send a medical team there every year and provide a fee clinic for the residents of La Chureca.

That place is truly heartbreaking. They are currently building a power plant there but the worry is that the families who live there won't have the skills to access the jobs it will provide.
