Hi. Your phone has the same problem as mine: in low light conditions it drop down frames during autofocus. Other sgs2 doesn't have this problem. I will contact the samsung support to fix this. Try to take again the video setting the exposure to -2 value and frame drops will magically go away.
It's super clear, the only thing that i hate about it is it keeps on focusing even if the camera is already focused on to something. I just hope that it has the ability to turn autofocus off. It's like you're commanding to it "Ok JUST FOCUS IT RIGHT THERE AND DON'T MOVE, JUST MOVE IF I TOLD YOU TO MOVE".. something like that. Then tap the screen again if you want to focus to something else.
I hate this auto focus. It's so irritating! My Pixon 12 does it too. I never can make a really good quality video. I didn't know this phone is like that too. Now Im really not going to by this one...too bad. :(
the shitty thing about the 1080p on the sgs2 is that it automatically kinda zooms in. meaning its very hard to keep it steady so it can focus... 720p would be a better choice for regular videos in that case.
@showntell No this is one of the first phones to use MHL. You buy a MHL cable for the GSII. So u plug this cable into the GSII then plug your usb cable to the right slot then there's a place for HDMI where you plug the HDMI in. The reason for the usb slot is so you can charge this whilst watch it on T.V. What i think is great
Sorry man not that good looks like frame rate drops and blurry! I think Motorola Atrix has better video shoot @ 720p specially at night don't get me wrong know that samsung better, but 1080p I think not yet any phone can handle it well and the autofocus still better on Sony Ericsson Arc, iPhone 4 has tab to focus so you can focus manually in middle of the video shoot.

@OoDVOCALISToO The Autofocus is superb. But like w/ any device in these lighting conditions, it'll run slower at times. I'd rather have slower/accurate focus, than bad any day. Meaning, focuses on what you're pointing it at or according to it's built in Smile & Face detection, etc. Not like iPhone 4 w/o features! Phone Arena compares this phone to LG's new 2X phone & SGSII killed it in all aspects. This camera focuses on water & my Canon doesn't even do that well! ^_^ 10/10
