This is just a tip but I play the violin but what I noticed, is that you not keeping you bow in the middle of where it's supposed to go. You're kind of taking it up a little too high. If you keep it where it goes it will sound much much better!
Ive noticed they sell mute attachments for violin/viola that take the noise level down so as not to disturb others. Maybe you wont have to go out to the garage that way.
Na, it's okay, I spent a lot of time out there. It was my away place... there was a TV behind where the camera was recording. It was late at night, and I didn't want to disturb my husband.

I have a mute, but in that tiny house, he still would have heard me loud and clear in the bedroom. I was recording at like, 1 AM. LOL

WOW...they put u to study in the GARAGE???.....thats mean.....but u'll get there don't worry..they'll let u in the house again with that thing
