My uncle met matt kenseth and dale jr. one time. He was in north carolina, and his car broke down. They happened to be going past and they stopped to help him out. Then they actually took him out for dinner after that. This was back in like 2000, when it was actually possible for Jr to be out in public w/o being completely mobbed.

I almost met Newman once. It was at Milwaukee at the Busch race in 03. My mom came back and said she met Ryan Newman, not my favorite driver, but would've been nice to meet a NASCAR driver face to face.
