When he is simply around humans and when he is around vampires he sounds the same in the English Version. But in this version you can feel more intensity in his actions when he is around vampires. (unless he is acting all calm and talking sh*t)

@biggydx they dont die by the sun in this series. it was actualy never ment for vampires to die by the sun. it was just believed so since in the movie nosferatu he died as the sun shone up and people assumed the sun did him in.
