Best time to use topwater frogs is any time there's grass, weed or pad growth. Late spring into summer is when we filmed this segment. Or when the fish are tight to the bank in shallow water.

Nice vid! I'd recommend slowing your frog presentation and strike waaay down and see what you come up with. More hits, higher percentage of hook-ups per hit, and bigger fish...in my experienced.
