Lets set this straight: What indy/alt/rock artist hasn't been influenced by Radiohead? That said not many come close to being half as musically brilliant as them. I think(and I know I'm gonna get bashed for this one) that Jack is as talented and brilliant in his own right as Thom Yorke is while not attempting to be a clone copy of what Radiohead does. Now that's an accomplishment. This man deserves credit for what he's doing, don't try to sell it short with claims of ripping off Thom/Radiohead.

Well, I am not going to argue with you guys about whether or not Jack is better than Tom. It is simply my subjective reasoning that Jack is a little more creative and gifted than Tom. How is it different than Radiohead? Well, his one cover is called a mash-up because he puts Chopin together with Radiohead. So it is not just a cover. If 'stevesp' thinks this 'sucks' then I wouldn't invest in his musical opinion in the first place. I think any honest listener will see the ingenuity here.

I have heard thom's single album and I own it and appreciate it. Once again, I don't think Thom is seriously lacking in any way, I just prefer Jack over him. In a lot of Thom's songs I feel artistically distant because of the post-modern edge-y-ness. But if you notice, Jack did a mash up of Chopin and Radiohead. You see, Jack has a wide enough musical scope to bridge a connection between Chopin(classical Romanticism) and Radiohead, and not just in theory, but in practice.

hey flimflam, for sure, man! It's a regular piano (but rather old, it's from the turn of the century approximately 1890) but I've pushed little red pieces of felt between each string to dampen the sound. It makes the piano more percussive, and it rings less. Thanks for listening!
