Its because nintendo's analog stick is obselete. It is an 8 sided octagon whereas Sony and Microsoft have a free circle so aiming is somewhat easier.

That is an attack in all (i think) the tales games. at least all of those I have played.

There are usually artes that are carried throughout all tales of games. Sometimes with a bit of a different execution of the attack.

But Pow Hammer is indeed one of the funniest attacks (Remember Colette and Lloyd? Lol)

It's a little strange with their being almost no music [it's very quiet].

...And I've always been bad with aiming with the sorcerer's ring. XD I'd started to do all right in ToS when I'd been playing a lot, but I went back to it recently and was definitely out of practice. I'd always shoot it just a bit too late and get into a fight, anyway.
