  • Someone can play!! Should have kept going. Great music for its time. One of the best pinball games Williams ever built! My 2nd best of all times (# 1 being "Fire Power").

    Give me your money!!! lol

  • Nice playing! This game had incredible music for just being FM synthesis. It really puts you in the mood for such a fast-paced pinball.

  • Thanks for the video! I just got my BK2K rebuilt and look forward to playing it ALOT!

  • i got whirlwind ant this game in my basement reords 12million whirlwind

    123million blk knght

  • Still waiting for someone to make a good adaptation of this in Future Pinball so I can play the everlovin' snot out of this again like I did way back in the day... :-)

  • @darkwriter77 It's already available in Visual Pinball. I wouldn't hope for a Future Pinball release because of the fact that Future Pinball doesn't use actual original game rom files. I wish it did and were as accurate to the original machines as possible but no one will do it on the official forums for FP because of copyright shit. Honestly who cares? Just host your files on file sharing networks and keep it secret and the pinball companies won't care or know.

  • @darkwriter77 It just got released for Future Pinball today! You can go download it at pinsimdb (dot) org :)

  • @xxxplicitrecordz Awesome! Thanks for the heads up! I know what I'll be doing this weekend... :-)

  • @darkwriter77 No probs :D

  • Music sounds like Shadowrun mixed with Skitchin

  • The black knight disliked this video because the person playing the game defeated him!

  • DYK: Ed Boon and Dan "Toasty!" Forden (the Mortal Kombat guys) worked on BK2K as the programmer and co-composer, respectively.

  • @JimHawkwind03411 Ed Boon also provided the voice of Rudy in Funhouse.

  • Love the video and the sound. Too bad you quit. Im going to buy one this week.

  • Loved this game! Played it for about 3 hours after work every night back in 89-91. I will own one of these before I die, lol

  • One of the top 5 pinball games ever. I miss this game...

  • Pretty sure my first Pinball machine purchase will be one of these sexy things.

  • just played this for the first time yesterday...fun game

  • Even after 20 years, I still get goosebumps when the King's Ransom gets hit! Thanks for posting!

  • hello Gizmonic, il love BK2K, but why you down the 2 last balles please ?

  • one of the first pinball tables I ever played. Well, it is the very first that I actually remember playing. It was legendary back in the days. The owner of the nearby video store had one, as well as "fun House" and other great tables later on.

  • Lots of great memories of this machine. This pinball game is several different kinds of awesome.

  • Me to young kid: What you know about Magna-Save?

Young kid: Is that on twitter?

    Me: *pimp smacks young kid*

  • young kids today say "epic" as if they know what it means. NO! THIS game is EPIC! Having a crowd of 20 onlookers watch you kick the black nights ass to electronic chours singing in 1989 is EPIC!! "you got the power...ahhhhh...ahhhhhhhhh..aaHHHHH" YEAH! this is what life was all about!!! young kids today know nothing about this!

  • Jesus christ - I remember this goddam MUSIC/SINGING like it was yesterday -- kids to day SUCK, nothing like being a kid int eh 80s/90s -- it was all ab out flashing lights, louds sounds, electonic music, and digitized voices and getting that high score -- then the POP of the 'replay' which meant you didnt have to get back on the subway to go home for another hour! Kids today SUCK! if you grew up in this era cosider yourself lucky -- it wont come back .

  • @personalfunfest

Kids today DO suck. If I see another one saying "this is gay" to anything which is older than 2004 (as if nothing existed before they started living) I am going to smack him up the head (hey, that's what happened to kids before this insane politcal correctness gave rise to this generation of brats).

  • @McLarenMercedes

Im all about smackin down younguns and womens -- call me old school but thats how nature created it -- imagine a 2011 emo-blacknight2011 game -- it would suck -- youd hit the start button and get a 'trophy' for starting the game -- then drain saves would spring up and prevent you from losing for at least 5 minutes, then instead of a score you just get another e-trophy.. is it any wonder kids today are all faggots -- I remember beating this game back in the day and goin home..

  • @McLarenMercedes

(cont)......with a BITCH to suck me off casue I kicked the games ass....

  • this bk2000 game has probaly one the best and original pinball music tracks in itself ever produced PERIOD!!

  • I play the Black Knight on the Wii.

  • ¸my best score in this pinball is 12o milion!! ha ha..

  • I own this machine, but lots of the lights are out and some of the sensors do not work. It's cool to see what it looks like with every light working.

  • my high sc 80 million :)

  • Very good game. Nice video!!!

  • Quite an epic struggle for jackpot at the end and great ball handling skills , probbly my favorate pin game of all time, Truly miss Williams and all the great orignal games they created, its lucky if you can even find a playable table in our area only private colectors have access anymore.

  • Awesome i was 13 years old when i played for first time on spain... gime your money xD

  • You are amazing at this machine. I been playing it my whole life and was never as good as you.

  • Damn, that is a sweet machine. The sound and light show is amazing. Multi ball at 2:13 didn't last long though :( You flipper like you are some pro?

  • good job add more pinball vids =D

  • Nice Pinball =)

I like the machines of the 80s and 90s

  • Those look like incandescent lamps.

Dude, you're waaaay too polite with this machine. You need to bump it around a little to get play off the WAR light bumpers--passing that ball to the upper flipper is KEY.

Also, you should be able to play for a LONG time with just your right hand.

On your pinball, I mean. :)

During RANSOM, don't be afraid to lose balls to get them up to the upper playfield for the jackpot. Also, losing a ball and keeping it in the plunger trough gives you a spare ball.

  • @catkinsx The reason why he is way to polite woth this machine is he probably owns it.

  • @niceguytim : Maybe! I own one of these, and I'll tell you what, I'm a lot more rough with it than I would be with someone else's machine! There are more than a few places where a little up-bump makes all the difference -- just don't tilt!

  • Aw yeah, RANSOM baby. Man, I miss my Bk2000.

I'd hooked up an audio out jack so the sound came through my stereo system's loudspeakers. Probably drove my neighbours nuts.

  • Another of the coolest things was if you didn't have a credit in the machine and hit the start button, the Black Night would say "No way, give me your money!" The machine would also call out "Give me your money" every so often, and that smirking challenge made me spend my first quarter on it. Then it became a roll of quarters a week. This is the only pinball machine I wish I owned.

  • You smash to the machine, does one of the flippers not work?

  • I haven't played this game in over 15 years, but I still got goosebumps when I heard the music when you hit the King's Ransom!

  • Interesting :)

What kind of the camera made this?

  • Nice game :)

These lights on machine are equipped with LEDs or not?

  • Nope. No LEDs

  • @onlydjz

LEDS! no son! no! incandecents! REAL lights!!

  • Winners don't use drugs. lol

  • Nice flipper skills!

  • i have to find one of these I can play. does anyone kow of one in New Jersey??

  • Okay... Out of curiousity, why do you nudge after you lock the 3rd ball?

I could listen to BK2K's music all day long. That damn bassline gets stuck in your head.

  • Comment removed

  • I just bought this machine, so much fun and I pwn everyone

  • I REMEMBER THIS! Why didn't that machine be part of the Williams' Pinball Classics?!

  • i love this game the music was epic and the singers ewre awesome

  • Hahaha, You've got the power, you've got the might. Get ready for battle, 'Beat the Black Knight'. I loved playing this game just to hear that tune!

  • @mrperfect87106 Give me your money!!!

  • Awesome top-deck play and multi saves!

  • Rollergames on the left.. BK on the right... exactly how it was in the arcade i used walk to from my highschool to cut class :p

  • Best pinball ever!

  • my highscore for this machine is 23 million. 16 million on ball 1!

  • one thing i can never get is skyway (unless i have ransom, that is) but my dad claims that is the coolest thing in the game. could anyone post a video of this?

  • I'll never beat your score

  • Just seeing the RANSOM intro is classic!

    5X Bonus

    U-Turns=250,000

    Extra Ball Lit

    WAR=Million

    Jackpot is Lit

    Skyway is Lit

(and just admit the truth already...)

    EVERYTHING IS LIT!

  • except for ransom, ironic huh?

    best pinball ever!

  • @spiritbomb1 Never even thought of that, lol. What would also be cool is when we see "EVERYTHING IS LIT!" the Rollergames table to his left would have yelled out its trademark line of "DEVASTATING!"

  • It is on this machine that I had my Pinball Wizard moment at the old Smithfield News (now gone) in Pittsburgh, PA. I had just 200k on the first ball, and Ball 2 was great. RANSOM, Jackpot, Replay, second place on the high score list... by the time Ball 3 rolled around, I noticed movement behind me. I'd drawn a small crowd. Finished my game, and got the Match, too. 5 Credits on the machine and I walked away. To this day it's one of my finest gaming moments on any platform. I love you, BK2K.

  • @Zaximillian Hitting the match at the end of all that is the icing on the cake :)

  • Old school arcade tip I learned? "Always leave after your worst game; always leave after your best game." :D

  • @Zaximillian

At the local bar that my brother and I used to go to, they had both this and Whirlwind. My brother took 1st on BK2K and I took 1st on Whirlwind. Later on I found a BK2K and scored 12 mil on a 3 ball game, max slope on the pinball table. If I own any pinball again, it will be this game.

  • it is sure, on the bk2000 you are the pinball world champion!!! great play!! i love the bk2000!! a lot of "d-mark" i spent!! greetings from berlin, germany!!!

  • Gizmnoic, awesome playing. Not to be picky, but the lightning wheel award kept slipping by you! Nonetheless, that was some badass playing. I love your other Steve Ritchie game videos as well.

  • Hey gizmnoic

great gameplay. Are you using the default coils (2x11630 and 1x 11722) in your machine?

  • the music is epic >>

  • Wow <3 !

  • Awesome video, I used to have a Black Knight 2000 and it is without question one of the greatest machines ever built. You're also at a beast at this game, you were able to show pretty much every feature it has, even the King's Ransom!

  • Extremely nice machine, I own one myself too. I noticed that the top ball popper launches the ball extremely fast at the third flipper, much faster than at my machine (sometimes it barely rolls uit of the wireform). How did you manage to do that?
