can u tell me the weight, horse power, torque and max rpm on an s2000 cause now im curios. my 96 gt had o 0-60 in 5 seconds flat, as for the quatermile, i have no idea.
weight on a s2k is about 2700 give or take 100lb max, 1/4 varies upon driver and tires, i was clocked @ 5.498 seconds and a 1/4 mile of 13.98 or just 14 flat.. im a average driver but HP on the factory is stock 240 i have CAI and gutted catalytic converter, i prolly around 250 maybe mustang has 260 and that car weighs alot more then mine, trq dont mean crap.. seriosuly do the math
maybe it realy wasnt racing you hard at all (very posible, especialy if it was a cobra) once a civic, which had a body kit an at least modified exhaust. it reved its engine, when the light took green and, it barely went faster, then when i got to speed limit, i stoped accelaerating and it took off, i was driving normal. my friends civivs (both of them) say there cars redline just following me, and for me, the speed is normal. srry to burst your bubble (i drove GT)
He is probably one of those guys that revs his engine and ASSUMES the other person thinks they are going to race, so he takes off fast and pretends his penis is getting bigger as he flies away.
i bet your one of those ricers that thinks if you put a huge exhaust on it it goes really fast and sounds awesome. Then you go to race someone and you make an excuse that your stickers arent putting out the horsepower they should be you fucking tool.

1997 mustang cobra - about 305 horsepower, 300 torque.
1/4 mile : Mid 12's to low 13's STOCK.
They are definately badass cars and no reason to hate on them, since they can destroy pretty much most cars on the road stock-for-stock.
Hell I'd becareful of picking on the v6's too! Theres TONS of people slapping turbos on em and droppin 12-13 second 1/4 mile slips all day long....

Cobra's have more than 260 so you know. and yes Torque means a shit load. without it you have no push. and no go.
