  • Very cool, it's aged pretty well! Were Classic's part of the EMI stable? Would love to see any Granada cinema idents if such things are knocking around anywhere.

  • Classic Cinemas weren't owned by EMI, but I have seen one EMI ident. It was from the late 70s. It wasn't that great, just a silent card telling people that they're in an EMI cinema, and that the music being played in the foyer is from EMI records.

  • @PIFMan09 Classic Cinemas were owned by ACC (Associated Communications Corporation) A joint venture between ATV and ITC

    I think in 1982 ACC and Classic Cinemas ceased to exist when ATV was reorganised to Central Independent Television.
