Classic Cinemas were owned by ACC (Associated Communications Corporation) a joint venture between ATV (Associated TeleVision) and ITC (Incorporated Television Company)
Very cool, it's aged pretty well! Were Classic's part of the EMI stable? Would love to see any Granada cinema idents if such things are knocking around anywhere.
Classic Cinemas weren't owned by EMI, but I have seen one EMI ident. It was from the late 70s. It wasn't that great, just a silent card telling people that they're in an EMI cinema, and that the music being played in the foyer is from EMI records.

I think in 1982 ACC and Classic Cinemas ceased to exist when ATV was reorganised to Central Independent Television.
