While I'm on a 10cc kick, here's another. When I was in HS I had a friend who liked this and we would sing it in the hallway between classes. We had a little dance step that we did to the chorus. We were such geeks. I still am. And you know that.
Couldn't agree more! Unfortunatly I kinda missed out on those eras- I pray that 2010 will be a music revolution and they'll come out w/ some better stuff then the past decade
thing about pre-personal computer age music is that it was patient. it took its time, and it didn't beat you over the head. and it still rocked. that it is my theory, which is mine.
I know just before watching the movie I heard the song on the radio and it got stuck in my mind, and while I was watching the tune comes up and I was like Oh C'mon !!! Great tune indeed.
I'm talking about the group of singers called "Cadence". They're not well known but imo, their version is better than this and they make brilliant songs as well

summer...playing this track pulling the boards out waxing them down...prancing round like models snapping photos and all singing to this song....pricless
Pstassio...You damn idiot. Stick to things you know and like the best, which is hip hop, and the anal crack of Eminem's ass at concerts when his baggy drawers are slipping half way down his ass. Perhaps that kind of fashion suits you best.
I'm not concerned with whether you were joking, or anything you do for that matter.
The 70s were about "quality music" and substance, not about hallow muti-million dollar corporate sponsored music, videos, and foolish acting as it is today. Stay off these threads, you lifeless twisted metal loving punk.
I find it fascinating that because I made one joke about a performer's wardrobe in this video, you have extrapolated the following: I love hip-hop, Eminem and heavy metal and have no respect for the music, fashion or values of the 70's. The truth is I grew up in the 70's, I love that music, and I don't like hip-hop (especially Eminem) or heavy metal. Again, I was JOKING. I think perhaps it's people like you who should stay off these threads. People who take them waaaay too seriously.
You've really gotta accept the changing times, even if Pstassio was kidding. And no, today's music is just as complex and sophisticated as '70's music, even if you fail to see it.
"10cc," another great British band from Manchester, England was signed to Jonathan King's UK Records label in July 1972. King dubbed them "10cc." He chose the name after having a dream in which he was standing in front of the Hammersmith Odeon in London where the boarding read "10cc The Best Band in the World". King later denied rumors the band's name was derrived from a volume of semen that was more than the average amount ejaculated by men, thus emphasising their potency or prowess.
