In Flames has been terrible since Reroute. Clayman was their last solid album.

Also, anyone who denies that they are a Melodeath band, and not only that, but one of the originators of melodic death metal, obviously doesn't know their metal and should be beaten with a copy of The Jester Race.

Could you be more of an idiot? I have to be a permanent fan of a band once I like one album by them? Absolutely not. In Flames changed their sound to involve shit tone, simplified riffage, less melody and all around worse songwriting. So I stopped liking them.

Some bands massively change their sounds in a positive way (Ulver, Katatonia), or gradually evolve into something better (Soilwork). Don't tell me I can't accept change when I can listen to both Brave Murder Day and Viva Emptiness.

They are Melodic Death, have you heard of Scar Symmetry? They are also Melodic Death, and anyway just listen to older In Flames if you really refuse to believe, that should be "Death" enough for you.

their oldest kinda meets the SOUND requirements but thats about it. its more thrashy. and i've actually seen scar symmetry. . . with DT i think. i've never heard of the foreshadowing. i REALLY hate that everyone assigns EVERY band their own genre. EYE would call in flames melodic metal (more or less just deleting the death because its not there.)

I'm a singer and i try to make my recorded stuff the same as live, but sometimes i cant do it so i change it.
