  • Go to the Cody Museum- great place; fun town.

  • The 30-40 Krag makes an excellent deer rifle. The heavy, slow moving projectile drops deer in their tracks. Magnums are a modern myth, and actually less effective on deer than the old and perfect cartridges.

  • I've got one chambered for 30 US now 30-06.

The guy I bought it off thought that he was ripping me off by selling it to me for $500.

It was worth twice that much.

  • Try 5-6 times as much, depending on year.

  • I am new to this gun thing. I have a 40.72, what do you think that is worth?? Where can i find out??
