Well, some are, or used to be. Before AIDS killed a lot of us, the clubs were really hopping and fun. As well, the internet has really wiped out the necessity for people to go out and meet people, instead providing a means for you to hook up one on one, avoiding the club/bar scene all together. Those days are gone for the most part. You may see some fun stuff taking place at a circuit party but nothing like the creatitiveness that used to go on back in the 80's.
