Just an update FYI does not work in Canada, I live in Ontario and there is no audio and only 2 channels show up, yes I loaded up the latest Firmware. The dongle is out for refund.
@74steve67 Just go it today, audio does not work on any channel, you will only get cbc in hd and ctv in sd so it's either a firmware issue. Well it's not worth it for Canadians right now. I don't know if I will try to return mine or wait it out.
Love the shirt! Also I'd love a "reminder" of some sort for a future show. Just in case you're on a different channel at that time or watching a Local or Online video at the time. But I think I'll be getting Live.
@tmar89 do you have cable internet? If you do you almost certainly get a basic cable signal through the coax cable that's running to your modem. You can just split it and run that cable to your TV
@nbm326 I have Cable Internet and Cable TV. If I canceled Cable TV but kept the Internet, would the basic channels still come through? I thought I needed to subscribe to Cable in order to get Cable channels.

Just ordered mine, better work in Canada with the ban of analogue airwaves, if it doesn't it will be like taking an arrow to the knee.

I have an antenna but I don't get the channels that the internet says I should. will the Boxee LIVE TV give me a better signal and more channels?

Too bad I don't have OTA channels available in my area. I still need to subscribe to basic cable in order to get their unencrypted QAM channels.

@tmar89 Most (if not all) cable providers give you(though they don't tell you) basic cable with your broadband subscription.
