  • Real jade has warmth, depth, a nice weight, and -- if you pay the price -- a gemmy translucent glow. You can find more opaque, but still genuine jades, at lower cost. The very rarest, finest jade resembles fine emerald, but even more glassy/gemmy. I think it looks like fine rare chrysoprase with its chalcedony-like gleam. But real jade of that luster and color would run in the millions (sigh)

  • i went there and bought jade, what they sell turns out to be fake.

  • can i have it?

  • how do you know that it is fake?

  • color, purity, light(the best jade appear to be glowing fadely from below the surface, fake jade are extremely shiny, almost like glass, shiny != good)

  • did you ever buy the jade bangle?if so are u still wearing it?

  • So its a marble and not jade?

Lmao marble is also considered luxurious. So whats the problem.

  • yes I agree that marble can be luxurious but only if you know all along that what you are wearing is marble but if you purchase an item thought to be jade and you discover it is not, its quite frustrating and disapointing.

  • Is Jade more expensive than Marble? I would say buy Jade in real respectable shops. They sell the real thing and not fake jade. Problem solved.

I had a piece of Jade hanging around a red thread around my neck in my younger years. After a few years, it broke (my fault, I was swinging it). Bad sign. Bad luck was coming my way.

  • yes. a thousand times more :-).

  • jade are rarer than marble so therefore more expensive. the finest jade is called imperial jadeite. they sell for millions of dollors for a bangle, strand or even a single pendant. ity has a vivid emerald green color with high translucency.

  • @Elbottoo doesn't it actually mean that the jade has prevented the bad luck coming your way? (Ie. the bad luck falls on the jade, thats why the jade broke)

  • @yannigk The jade was on a neckless made out of red fabric. I was swinging the neckless around and it hit the wall and broke the jade. How did that prevent bad luck from falling on me. As far as I know, my life is filled with bad lucks.

  • @Elbottoo for all u know it could've been your head hitting that wall and u getting a concussion.. haha.. but well.. that's if u believe the myth..

  • marbles are luxurious on the feet, table and bathub but not as jewelries...

  • what a great video, thank you very much :)

  • i named my lab puppy after jade <------her name

  • ...Very helpful. If I buy a jade bracelet I'll know what to look and listen for...

  • thank you

  • this is fantastic, very interesting ^_^
