  • You're hott! :)

  • As far as the fat loss being too fast -- depends. Five pounds a week is typically too much, but the first few weeks can be even more the heavier you start out. It will slow as you drop more. I get concerned about two things with quick weight drop: lean tissue and muscle loss and skin elasticity. As far as energetic and sleepless; endorphins released when you work out late in the evening can cause sleeplessness. Caffeine too late in the day, and or even eating right before bed can contribute.

  • ooh...true...i reliase i lost so much strength when i'm leaning down....yeh i was sleepless as well for 4months and still are now...and the worst thing is i got a lot of nasty cellulite on my hips and abs which is terrible!!

  • hey...how about the idea of overeating on the" GOOD" foods becuase apparently i heard that you wouldn't gain a single pound and you will not crave anything if you overeat on the right foods cause now i am eating 4000 calories and still losing fat...and i am 180 pounds 11% body fat....my rule is only eat clean...no refind sugar no process food...all whole foods...do you think this science is becoming true?

  • I wish i could do that . . . eat 4K cals and still lose fat! lol. I'm jealous :) I think overeating causes weight gain, regardless if it's clean or not. The good thing about it being clean is that you feel great and are relatively healthy. But, if you eat more than you burn, your body will have not choice but to store it as fat. If you're eating that much and still losing, you have a ROCKIN' metabolism and you are likely healthy and conditioned as well. KUDOS buddy! ;)

  • YEs but the thing is i was eating 2500 worth of junks sugar starches i was 240 pounds with 30% body fat...how come i increase my calories and still lose fat?i dnt understand

  • Eating cleaner most likely leveled out your insulin spikes and swings which help steer you away from adding body fat . . . and you also probably simultaneously altered your workouts (started exercising more or more intensely) which increased your metabolism and had you burning more -- turning you into a lean, mean, fat burning machine! (good job, btw!)

  • oooh yeh true!! well i used to not exercise....but the thing is something is worrying because i drop 60lbs in 3 months which to someone else is too fast....and the thing is i eat a clean diet and feel tired in the morning and feel very energetic and sleepless at night what's can be going wrong?

  • That's ideological, and not true at all, a calorie is a calorie, whether you eat a gram of dextrose or a gram of starch, or a gram of trans fat, vs a gram of omega-6's, doesn't matter regarding weight. If you're losing weight at 180lbs while eating 4K in calories, either you're very active, or you have hyperthyroidism.

  • That's a great question C, and i didn't really make that connection until you mentioned it here. Sugar can elicit an endorphine response much like exercise, so i suppose there is some serious validity to that! Good comment! :)

  • So the contest is AFTER the contest... gotcha..Thanks Chelle.

Do you think the carbs replace the "feel good" hormones from an abrupt decrease in cardio???

    Merry Christmas!!!!

    ~C.
