I told the cop/secretary working the front desk what happened, and asked if there was any way for him to get into contact with the cop that saw us skating, and if he could ask that cop if he saw anything. This cop/secretary did nothing to help me. He sat on his ass, thats it. He even accused me of breaking my phone, and lying about. He told me lying to the police is a crime. I reported a crime to this mother fucker as an innocent citizen looking fot help, and all he did was accuse me of a crime.
Once, two years back, I was skateboarding at a strip mall, kind of behind it, on the loading docks. I had noticed that there was a cop maybe two hundred meters away. I assumed he would give my friend and I trouble, but he didn't which was cool. After 10 minutes or so, I had noticed my cell phone disappeared. My friend and I looked for it for a few minutes, then assumed it was stolen. By this time the cop had left, but the police station was about five minutes away, so we skated there.
I can't stand cops, they try their damnedest to find any insignificant reason to use any kind of force. And if they choose to do it they get away with it. Think of all of these stories of abuse of authority. The outcomes are almost always two week paid "leaves". So their punishment is payment to sit around.
I guess that's better than having that asshole out on the street at least for a small period of time.

Every time I've been pulled over for some stupid thing, the cop sees me and just lets me go. I even had a teacher who told me "How is it you have a C in my class, you don't look like a bad kid?" Looks are stupid.
Im pretty sure a cop can't search you like that legally without reasonable articulable suspicion. Next time a cop pulls you over you should ask him what his suspicions are and if he can't justify himself he can't do shit.

Cops are always bowing up on my friends and me. My brother actually looks a fair bit like TJ and because of that cops always think we're up to something. We live in a little powdunk town and get pulled over almost any time we're out driving at night. Its fucking ridiculous.

This is bullshit. I no longer have the druggy look going on and I've had nothing but positive experiences with cops since I've gone to a different look. But when I did look like a druggie in college, cops would always treat me as they treated you. Instead of crying about it, I was realistic and understood that it came with the territory. The war on drugs is bullshit, but it's their job to seize drugs, and if they didn't inspect suspicious persons they'd be pretty fucking bad at their jobs.

I know how you feel. My alergies are BAD. Underneath my eyes is blackish-purplish. I swear, everybody thinks that I do drugs. My mom even asked if I was on drugs once. About two years ago my allergies were HORRIBLE. I woke up only able to open my eyes so that it look at if you were looking under a door way and had to get a frozen sleep mask and had to sleep all day.
I remember watching this show on RealTV years ago, and this husband was speeding on the highway. He got pulled over, and the man kept saying "my wife is dying! I have to get her to the hospital!" But the police officer kept saying how he shouldn't be speeding and so much time passed that the man's wife died and the guy actually took the cop to court and everything. That cop's now in jail.

Hipster is also a derogatory used by others to identify these 'hip' young people with their noses up and ideals, it's like old people calling kids "young whipersnappers" or some shit. It's a that used to be used by the people outside of the young hip collective to identify them. What are known as hipsters have never gotten up and decided on what to call themselves like punk or emo did, because it's more of a social based on single people being ironic rather than a movement with a point.

When hipsters were just coming about they were identified as embracing an alternate lifestyle completely different from the norm. Yeah its the majority, a simple glance at mtv or vh1 or just your average middle/high school will confirm that. Nonconformity is damn near synonymous with hipsters; so even if some are truly being themselves the majority speaks tot he contrary.

There is no defined and designated "hipster movement" no group of people got up one day and said they all wanted to be a hipster. Hipsters are/were/what the fuck ever, defined by a bunch of liberal minded city dwelling 20 somethings trying to be authentic, retro, with beliefs and shit that aren't so conventional. The hipster movement is a bullshit movement because it's not a movement, it's fragmented. A hipster is not one thing therefor there are no set beliefs, types of music, or dress.

One day i was walking from my work to a resturant (which was literally a block or so a way) with my friend/roommate. Well josh was about 10 steps ahead of me because i stopped to bend over and scratch my calf, well at the moment to cop cars were coming at us. They stopped me asked me what I was doing... mean while josh, who again is only like 10 steps ahead of me, didn't realize they were cops so he continued to smoke the blunt he had rolled. Cops completely miss the toker and stop the scratcher

You were spotted, and a concerned citizen called the police. The police stop you, and you explain that you were up there taking pictures of eachother, which the cop understandably thinks is odd. You have red eyes, a sign a police officer could recognise as a sign of drug abuse......

I've encountered many cops in my time, hell my dad was a cop at one point. Yes, some cops are dickheads, that goes for anyone. However, they are trained to assume the worst. Shit can go down real fast for them and people die sometimes cause they went easy. Don't blame the cops, blame the system.

I have a youthful appearance. At 23 I still have people telling me I look 16. I had a run in with the management at a movie theater once. They tried to kick me out for making noise even though it was the person next to me. I refused to leave without a full refund and they called the cops. The cops treated me like shit until they saw my license and age. All of a sudden I got my refund. Fuck that shit man. I can't stand cops.

This is bullshit. I no longer have the druggy look going on and I've had nothing but positive experiences with cops since I've gone to a different look. But when I did look like a druggie in college, cops would always treat me as they treated you. Instead of crying about it, I was realistic and understood that it came with the territory. The war on drugs is bullshit, but it's their job to seize drugs, and if they didn't inspect suspicious persons they'd be pretty fucking bad at their jobs.

It just inconveniences a lot of harmless people whilst being really ineffective at actually identifying criminals. This same thinking is taken to the next level with racial profiling. Besides, why should citizens feel they should have to conform to a particular kind of look to avoid police harrassment?

A cop pulled over, gave me a light, and drove me the 6 miles home. These days, a kid could be walking a block away from home, sobre with nothing on him, and still get hauled in for curfew violation, and that's if they're lucky enough not to get a crooked cop planting drugs on them. lol

I know how you feel. My alergies are BAD. Underneath my eyes is blackish-purplish. I swear, everybody thinks that I do drugs. My mom even asked if I was on drugs once. About two years ago my allergies were HORRIBLE. I woke up only able to open my eyes so that it look at if you were looking under a door way and had to get a frozen sleep mask and had to sleep all day.

I remember watching this show on RealTV years ago, and this husband was speeding on the highway. He got pulled over, and the man kept saying "my wife is dying! I have to get her to the hospital!" But the police officer kept saying how he shouldn't be speeding and so much time passed that the man's wife died and the guy actually took the cop to court and everything. That cop's now in jail.
