During this go-around, flying in a confined airspace, the pilot banked past a 90 degree angle, the plane stalled and fell to the ground(continues below)

When you get a plane on it's side you stop the lift needed to stay in the air. When you do it at a slow speed you stall and in his case end up in the ground. It's a shame he took his crew with him. You can see he had his spoiler deployed trying to level out, but it was to little to late.

Don't be a presumptuous idiot. I have been to MANY military crash sites.. one of them went in at 60° nose down from 1500'. PLENTY of parts left (both people and plane). NO disintegration at all.

The pilot of this B-52 was not carrying out any irresponsible maneuvers at the time of the crash, they had finished rehearsing the routine(that yes, was dangerous for an aircraft this size to be carrying out, but was PART OF THE SHOW) when the pilot made the run to land, a KC-135 was still on the runway, so he carried out a 'go-around'. During this go-around, flying in a confined airspace, the pilot banked past a 90 degree angle, the plane stalled and fell to the ground(continues below)

The pilot was not suicidal, or an idiot, he was probably more successful than most of you posting on here. Once they realised the aircraft was irretrievable, the co-pilot fired the hatch cover, in order to eject, but did not do so in time. Learn your facts before you slag off people who risk their lives protecting you, then again risk their lives to entertain you for an afternoon. Rest In Peace.

When you get a plane on it's side you stop the lift needed to stay in the air. When you do it at a slow speed you stall and in his case end up in the ground. It's a shame he took his crew with him. You can see he had his spoiler deployed trying to level out, but it was to little to late.

I think they were performing at a airshow or were practicing for it and what caused the crash was he cranked into that left turn at to steep of a angle and the aircraft ran out of airspeed and stalled

From what I remember, the pilot was a real Top gun wannabe and thought he could fly the bomber like an attack jet. Sorry, physics doesn't care. When lift plus thrust is not greater than load + drag, Kaboom! He killed not only himself, but his entire crew. Dumbass! He had been previously reprimanded for low level high speed flyby's. The Air Force then tried to gloss it over as a training accident. The families of the crew deserved better.
