FYI. To put a Java App icon on your Motorola i465 Main Menu screen:

From the Home Screen, Press the Menu key> Settings> Personalize> Menu Options> Add/Remove Apps. Scroll to the app you want, press OK. A green check mark will appear next to it, then press Done. Next, select Reorder Menu then scroll to the bottom to find your app name. Press Grab and scroll up to where you want to put it. Press Insert. Press Done.

Not to be a hater, but I suggest you use Boost Apps to download any of the opera browsers. If they don't work, but a data cable and use the motorola iden loader on motorola's web site.

when you do all the rights and its says open are save ...dont open it save it ...that way it will be compressed to right size..i just did it...and it took about 10x before i tried another way....when you open it it it makes it big like and reugular file...when you compress it it makes it smaller....so dont open ..just save it...it will say omini ththat way...and not just mini,...

just get the $50 unlimited plan, and then download opera mini to make your internet on your boost much faster and more reliable. Also the default browser on most boost phones wont let you access websites like facebook or myspace, but with opera it will.

@samler04 freeboostapps will get you everything you need for your phone 100% free I have the i465 and when I use the web I use opera that I got from freeboost apps even works with nextel all iden phones will not work with the new cdma boost phones the ones with out the walkie talkie

Try saving the last 16 letters of the opera mini file. The motorola iden loader only accepts files with names that have less than 16 letters in there file name.

Your best bet is to get a motorola brand data plug, and you the motorola iden loader and drivers.

There are tons of good java apps.

I have the I875, and this is how I got the opera mini 4 to work on my boost phone.

1. I brought a motorola brand data plug from amazon for 18 dollars

2. Go to motorola home page, download their iden java loader and drivers for the data plug.

3. go to getjar home page type in opera mini

4. click on opera mini, click save, shorten file names to getjar en jad getjar en jar

5. go iden loader click connect phone

6. click download open your getjat file click open

I tried this before, and it did not work on my I875. If you really want the opera mini 3 buy a motorola brand data cord, and downloaded the opera mini to your phone from your computer.

If you want a better browser that you do not have to download, try the Skwezzer browser. It's not as good as the opera browser, but better than the boost wap browser.
