Fanfest was amazing last year. I spent 5 days in Iceland and slept about 4 hours. Convention/wandering during day, and parties/downtown at night.

I love playing EVE, and I'm 14, so I got what you're saying. Playing EVE is more of an appreciation of the content along with using your brain to play through the game correctly, for me at least. Also, when EVE first came out in May of 2003, people wondered whether it would even stay around longer than maybe a few months. Nearly 6 years later, I'd say that EVE is still going to be around for a long time.

There is a special package that includes roundtrip airplane tickets and hotel stay for 3 nights starting at $719. But there are I'm sure small hidden fees like booking and such. That also doesn't include the actually ticket for Fanfest itself.

Well I could go into a detailed explanation of my financial circumstances but not sure Youtube is the place for that. Suffice to say I have a mortgage and I have a job.

Mortgage will be around for next 20 years, not sure atm if job will be around in 20 days ;-)
