The chap Neil seems like one the nicest people you might ever meet....a shame he had to go through such tough times. He's obviousley a very intelligent, deep thinking person and he is very articulate in being able to express some of the root causes of why he is in the position he is in at 28 and 35.
I'm 16 and seeing these, it makes me realize how much i have in this century and place of time compared to the other kids, such as computers and stuff like games, but i think what we are missing is the originality and happiness that was very real that they had when they were our age, and even though it was a struggle experiencing instead of knowing alot like we do form the internet and stuff, their was some originality to it,we sure do have a easier road? maybe it is just always been the same

@octemberfury The flashbacks are annoying when watching them concurrently, but if you'd watched 21 up three decades ago, you'd need reminding. When the last one was done 7 years ago, youtube wasn't even available, so i imagine michael apted wouldn't have had that in mind when editing them.
Neil has something of of Daniel Day-Lewis about him. Anyhoo, about to watch 42 Up...sincerely hope he is still alive and that things have taken a turn for the better.
