Legalize all drugs is the only answer. Many would say then we would have addicts all over the place blah blah blah. First off addicts exist already and will always exist. In my eyes those that choose to use things like heroine and meth knowing how harmful and addicting they are deserve whatever they get. Also a person overdosing on meth or heroine does not hurt anyone but that person cartels kill anyone that gets in their way.
Another stupid response is if you legalize more people would become addicted. WRONG while drug use may at first indeed rise it would not be such a problem like some say. First off not ever single american is an alcoholic even tho many people drink and its legal to do so. Then there is the simple fact that cannabis would be legal its none toxic not physically addictive so if you wish to quit its very easy to do so more so than giving up coffee.
The fact is you know that the government knows these things they just don't care they like that people are busy with these problems allowing them to do what they want and using this drug war as a diversion to the many other problems being faced in the US. Then there are the big pharma companies that want things to stay the same cause they know if cannabis is made illegal they would loose billions from people switching to cannabis instead of their poisons. I could go on forever.
Meant if cannabis is made legal not illegal. With the billions of dollars that would be saved from the stop of funding a pointless drug war and the countless billions made from hemp and just the simple sale of cannabis alone we could open community health centers that could help those that are addicted and want to stop using and there would still be money left over to help with other issues.
they are not helping Mexico,,USA are doing waht they have,,because the demand of drugs came from USA,,,,they money of the cartels comes from usa,,the GUNS of the cartels,,came from usa,,so is not helping,,,dont get confused,,,is a social responsability

People are under the false impression that legalizing drugs will reduce crime. So would legalizing murder by the simple fact that it isn't criminal anymore. The problem is you assume that there wont be anymore murderers in the streets. The people that deal in narcotics will not become educated and get jobs at NASA or Microsoft. They will simply move to another illegal and dangerous enterprise. Legalization is not a cure, it simply surrenders to the problem.

Its odd to see military vehicles on the street. Its common on the middle east news but here, in Mexico! The problem that we have in my country is the corruption. Drug cartels buy protection from the police and local gobernors giving them even much more power to operate. Its true that legalizing drugs will affect the cartels 100%, and also if the demand decreases. The US and Mexico have to work together on this issue.
where is America's MSM on this subject? Why isn't Rush Haanity and the rest of the right wing radio hammering on this? why are they ignoring our boarder?
@RPFS2008 because they dont care about the law if you try to control by law in the first place it would not be needed lo legalice drugs, when legalization its on their money will become legit but teir tactics wont

Executing drug dealers is the most efficent way to stop the problem. The USA has been tolerating this situation way too long. Don't through money close the border. Stop the invasion. Shoot any invader regardless of race, color, sex or religeon.
Marijuana legalization now!
Treat narcotics as a social illness and fund more clinics!

Pick up a pen. Sign a drug legalization law. Watch drug cartels drop like flies.

@RPFS2008 or watch the cartels go legal and w more power

I'm struggling to see your point. How would they have more power once their monopoly is destroyed?

@LFerMX
The whole point of getting into the drugs business/black market is the high prices that the monopoly (created by the law) gives them.
The same thing occurred when alcohol was made illegal. We don't now have problems with booze cartels.
You've not thought it through.

Lets see. We have a black market problem here.
Should we:
A) Consider all our options and use logic to find a solution
B) Cut off the drug cartel's funding by legalizing a plant that grows naturally in every state
C) All of the above
D) Clamp our ears shut, close our eyes and throw billions of dollars at the problem
I wonder which our government will choose.
I will Believe in Change when I see it happen in more than empty words!
Good video.
Thanks for posting it.

Always D. If there is a problem just throw money at it.

Yea, because that worked so well every other time a black market was packing in tons of money smuggling something that a large population wanted.
All that does is raise the price and make it even more lucrative for the poor Mexicans that act as mules.
How about if you wake up and read a book.
Its called supply and demand, dumbass!
Its fairly basic.
Totalitarian BS has NEVER ONCE stopped a black market!
It amazes me how YOU PEOPLE repeat history and never learn from it.
