For those of us learning on our own are there any particular books/methods/tips you recommend in addition to playing as much as our free time allows? I would love to have an awesome professional such as yourself for my teacher, though I'm not sure its in my student budget...

I have the book "Hanon: The Virtuoso Pianist", but I've barely used it. All my 'practice' is having fun learning great VG arrangements like yours, but I likely lack in form and theory.

@Araidian1 There is no accounting for taste, but I suspect it's because I play the song faster than in the game (because the piano sound decays too fast to project the melody properly at the original speed)

@rlseii It would depend on the particular piano and room but I suspect the vast majority would be better. (This is also the tradeoff when recording direct feed, you get no room reverb. I could add it artificially but I prefer not to...)

I love the use of the clock to throw away all disbelievers that the piece was played slow and simply sped up, but with the second hand, moving every second people can see thats not the case =D
