From the perspective of someone who knows very little Portuguese and very little about Brazil's music scene, I can't get over how much I love Marisa's music and her manifest passion for her work. She deserves greater global recognition, for sure.
What would it take. My guess is that a hit U.S. movie with one of her songs prominently included would do it.
