  • great idea. it's insanely creative but you're missing the tension that would come when you pull back a CH Throttle. That can probably be fixed with more rubber bands.... :)

  • nice thinking

  • where can u buy this game and the joy sticks plz whoever tells me will get a sub

  • @cacneaunit6 the game is downloaded over internet, and hardware devices are bought from the local market

  • It works for fsx?

  • I was just gonna say to take a real steering wheel, cut off the top and bottom, and attach it to the front of the joystick. but this works too.

  • Genius!

  • Driving wheel, hahaha! no such thing, its steering wheel!

  • lol, you're right man, thanks for the fixing

  • @habbtrillion driving wheel is a foghat song :p

  • i have a question. i have a logitech similar to yours but just in black and i bought it for ps2 but it has a usb conector. will i be able to conect and play with it?

  • isn't there a manual with it? i believe yours also works on PC, just go to the loitech website and download the latest driver and it'll work ;-)

  • thats prittey cool!!

  • how do you connect the wheel to your computer

  • just USB, the wheel is a game device

  • its still not like a yoke because yoke does not have a steering wheel

  • This is UBER awesome :P, solution for people who have no money for ch yoke.

    Thanks

  • just assign the wheel turning axis to the roll axis in the game and that's all.

  • How do you make it so that the wheel turns witch turns the stick?! PLEASE HELP!

  • no, the stick doesn't turn with the wheel.

I use the x axis of the wheel as the roll axis of the game, and the y axis of the joystick as the pitch axis of the game. The two devices don't affect each other

  • WHAT? I was just saying, you attach the anttena to the steering wheel so that when you push the wheel forward the stick pushes forward, so the planes nose comes down, I get that. But how do you make it so that when you turn the wheel, the plane turns?

  • connect the damn wheel(in my and ShikaiXu case power supply for the force feedback is not required), and in fsx set the wheel turning axis as aileron axis. if you want rudder, use the f***ing pedals, if you dont know, how real plane is actually controlled.

  • Thanks. But I think I know WAY more about aircraft then you. =) Look how old the comment is and then look in the mirror.

  • i saw the time, american. before i written my comment by the way. and i don't have to be commanded by some american sucker. and do you know, how many years have Lithuania asof 2009? about riple as USA. so just f*** off, american.

  • Thats ok. America is better at anything than you could ever do =)

  • this got off topic now. sorry shikaixu.

  • i prefer a joystick

  • not work ;/

  • why? it's just pure mechanical connections

  • congratulations .....

U r a fucking hero mate i bow down to you 5 stars well done mate good quility and seasy to understand

  • thanks sir =)

  • lol, crude but effective, I like it, good job :)

  • Ohhhh dam, im trying this tommorow lol, great idea, very creative.

  • What about the brakes, and buttons?

  • as both wheel and joystick are connected to PC and they're recognized by windows, so you just have to take a little time to setup the axises and buttons in game and that's all

  • thanks

  • you're welcome =)

  • thank you for your thing

  • haha dat shits mad ghetto. but good shit tho way to be creative

  • nice

  • ooh, creative :D

  • another thing... what is your joystick sitting on? is it something coming out of the desk?

  • don't worry :)

  • just anything available in your room, like a chair with books on it, and mine is a drawer with a big folder(to get a plane) and two books to fit the proper height

  • ah k... cool :)

  • was you joystick a forse feedback device or vibration feedback?

  • yes,it's a force feedback device, and also vibration is avialable. But both function requires the power supply, which in the yoke configration, I disconnected.

  • what type of wire are you using to hold it the wheel and the antena?

  • a "stronger" wire, hehe. it is just a thing that could be easily shaped, or, if there's anything in your room that have one head of a hole and another head that could insert to your wheel is ok :)

  • cool... one problem :P... how else could I conect it to the wheel :D the G25 doesn't have holes in the clamp nobs...???

  • you can even try to connect it on the slide board of your computer desk,if available, is there any posiblity to tie the antenna on the slip board?

  • yeah! thanks for your idea, I may try drilling 2 holes in the slip board, now I don't need the strong wire :P

    My plan:

I have an old desk, which my Mum said would be fine to drill into...

I was going to try and buy a slip board from bunnings (a hardware store), hopefully they have it :)

  • that sounds great! I'm looking forward to see your device there =)

  • Me too :P :D

  • cool thanks for the video :)

  • haha thats easy:P thanks

  • lol cool

  • A very interesting video!
