We have more than enough nuclear weapons in today's arsenal to destroy the world many times over. The B53 is a total overkill device that would spread fallout everywhere. We still have the 650 B83 Nuclear warheads that are variable yield all the way up to 1.2 Megatons. Nothing can survive a 1.2 Megaton explosion. Get a Clue Fox News.

@nuclearthreat545 You need to research. But then, from your silly posting, you probably read comic books. The W53 warhead was the largest yield ever made operational. I don't think the yield of the B17 bomb flown on the B-36 bomber had this level of yield. Too bad the commentator didn't talk about the B63-11 Earth penetrator having the same destructive ground-coupling as the B53 bomb, with only about a megaton of yield
