Hi Greg! I have just got my Gibson Les Paul Faded Cherry Sunburst 2005, like the one you are playing. I will record a video later to show you mine. Also has an incredible tone and sustain very similar to LP 59. I will cover the pickups too and put its pickguard. Regards, Andres Master.

Hi Greg! Great tone and sustain! That guitar remind me the sound of Mike Bloomfield and his LP std 59. I am waiting for mine is coming soon from the States. I will cover the pickups with nickel covers like you did and will add its pickguard. That way it will look much likely the 59. I will record a video when i get it and wil send it to you.
