Now explain to me why a 1989 Volvo 740 turbo (my car, 175,000 miles) drives smoother, is less noisy, handles better and everything else above then her Focus (120,000 miles)? Yea I enjoy driving cars where the company really gave a damn what they are building. You truly get what you pay for!
That badge at the start is not a True volvo badge, that badge only came into use when ford bought the car division of volvo, and all of these cars are 100% swedish volvo, not Ford bullshit. because ford came into the picture in 1998, all of these cars were made before that time.

Actually you are right! There's another video elsewhere stating that the engine in the white four door 240 is indeed a turbo charged M5 motor (the rest of you search for 'M5 Volvo'). When I first heard it I assumed it was a T6. someone else said it was a T5, but if you listen you can clearly hear it's a straight six, not a straight five.
It's still very cool though! While Volvo engines are great, you can't beat a little BMW 6 cyl goodness either :-)
