  • Well, I don't speak turkish, but in my opinion this is one of Handel's best works. I can also recommend the version of John Eliot Gardiner. This piece is not so good in german language. It's based on on John Miltons poem and it's very "englishness" demands the english language. Greetings from Norway. By the way, Turkish and Norwegian language has an almost identical tone, wich has made one Norwegian researcer suggest that the Norwegian elite in the early viking-age may have originated in Turky!

    Cserébe nem csak kottás, hanem egy plusz tétellel is kiegészült
